Season VII Issue II |

August 22, 2008 Partners and Friends, As each year passes gradually from season to season, we continually learn how beautiful Summer in NYC can be and are grateful that our unique corporate structure affords our network opportunities to work remotely from parks, cafés and piers. As I write this now, I'm sprawled on the grass of Pier A in Hoboken, NJ (the picture above is of the new Pier C, currently in construction), enjoying the view of Manhattan and the breezes across the Hudson. We truly hope your summer is as enjoyable and relaxing as ours. That said, era//404 has had anything but idle days and we are happy to share with you the news of our team's personal and professional successes. era//404 truly proved itself to be a multi-disciplinary studio this past quarter, with projects ranging from environmental design of tradeshow booths, application and site development for a number of social networking and peer-to-peer sites, identity and stationery design for new and growing companies, print promotional design and packaging, 3D Broadcast and Motion Design for kiosks and interactive DVDs and much more. The network itself has had its fair share of achievement, as well. PHP Developer Marceu Filho will be tying the knot in a few weeks, enjoying a honeymoon here in Manhattan. Marketing and Strategy Advisor, Todd Greene, launched his own company Ad-Alt, Inc., which has already partnered with era//404 to provide full service marketing and strategy services. era//404 Creative Group, Inc., also signed a partnership with the New York City development powerhouse, NYPHP, to collaborate on UI design and encoding for their prestigious list of clientele and our network has continued to grow. Our sister company, Lyrek, Inc.—devoted to Lyrek Contact and Events Management System (CEMS) development and client services—is ready to announce the launch of Musikal Chairs™ this quarter, a free, web-based service for building, seating and printing venues for events. Affiliates and advertisers welcome. Even as we continue through our seventh season of these newsletters, you'll also notice a new design to focus more on the work we produce, rather than the names of clients. Afterall, you hire us for design, development and marketing, so why not place the work in the foreground? Lastly, this beautiful weather evokes memories of all the work we've accomplished together. We've had the opportunity to work with some amazing people and produce outstanding work. Thank you for your continued interest and we are very proud to share with you our accomplishments. Sincerely, |
